Collection: CHRISTMAS

A merry Maileg Christmas in every room

Inside the dollhouse, every room is lit up. The mouse children lie tucked into bed, eyes still wide open, while soft voices drift up the stairs from the living room below. The whispers say it's time to sleep, but the excitement is simply too much. Outside, snow falls gently. Inside, it smells of cinnamon and pine.

In your own home the Maileg Christmas ornaments shimmer in a long, quiet row along the mantelpiece or window sill. A few gentle Christmas decorations around the house turn the rooms softer, warmer, and full of the well-known Christmas magic.

Christmas toys for kids, made to last

A Maileg Christmas gift isn't the kind that disappears into a drawer once the holidays are over. A small mouse moves into the nursery and stays. A Maileg Christmas  finds her place on the shelf and returns year after year. A soft bunny, tucked away in January, emerges again the following December, a familiar friend in a familiar season.

Thoughtful Christmas soft toys grow with the child and bring back the feeling of last winter with every hug, while a piece from the Christmas calendar and advent collection helps count down the wait. Each December, the little ones step back into the same warm world and find that it has been waiting for them all along.

Ribbons, paper, and the joy of unwrapping

A lovingly wrapped gift is its own kind of welcome. Ribbons, papers, bags, and tags in soft seasonal shades such as berry branches and polka patterns, warm pine greens and gentle vintage reds bring the festive feeling to every little parcel under the tree. Because sometimes the unwrapping is almost as lovely as the gift itself, and a ribbon pulled loose by small hands becomes part of the memory too.

Christmas at Maileg

Maileg (pronounced My'lye) is a Danish brand of toys and miniature worlds, where matchboxes become cosy mouse beds, princesses become tea-time companions, and cats and mice are the best of friends.

Every Maileg Christmas figure, ornament, and soft friend is crafted with care from soft, well-made materials so that it is gentle to the touch, safe for small hands, and made to last far beyond a single December. The soft toys are washable and ready to return year after year, a little more loved each time.
