Collection: Christmas Decorations & Storage

Christmas with a nordic touch and feel

There's a particular stillness to a nordic Christmas. Soft candlelight, warm wool blankets, and the gentle red of berry branches against pale walls. Maileg Christmas decorations carry that same calm mood into every corner of the home. A woven mosaic napkin at each place setting, a red Dannebrog flag swinging between pine branches, an angel jumping jack with a halo dancing quietly from the nearest beam.

Nothing shouts. Everything glows, just a little. The overall feeling is of a home that has quietly been expecting Christmas for weeks, and is ready to welcome it in slippers and a soft jumper.

Decorations that bring the Christmas tree to life

What kind of tree doesn't have a little mouse peeking out from somewhere near the trunk, we wonder. The Maileg mouse arrive in knitted jumpers, finding their places among the branches as if they had been there all along. One settles near the angel. Another clings bravely to a higher branch, with a clear view over the living room. A third has simply fallen asleep on a soft piece of tinsel.

A handful of Christmas mouse decorations can quietly change the feeling of a whole room – small, soft characters that are easy for little hands to move from branch to branch. For more delicate hanging pieces to keep them company, the Maileg Christmas ornaments collection brings the nordic spirit to the tree.

Favorites made to return each year in December

The loveliest decorations are the ones that are already familiar. A fabric ornament that was stitched years ago but still hangs in the same corner of the window. A blanket that reappears every December like an old friend. A small mouse who was here last year, and the year before, and who has somehow become part of the family story.

Maileg decorations are designed for that slow, return-every-year kind of love. A little tucked away in the box each January, a little gently unwrapped again each December. Explore the full Maileg Christmas collection to see how one small angel and one brave little mouse can become a tradition all of its own.
